But Never Doubt I Love

Arolyn Williams and Christopher Sellars

Closing the evening is Pickett’s multi-faceted and technically awe-inspiring “But Never Doubt I Love.” The hard-to-break passion of desire and anger are intertwined during the first segment with a striking pas de deux, but other emotions such as joy and love emerge during the sometimes whimsical and lighthearted variations. The break-neck speed of the nimble footwork drew enthusiastic applause from the audience and ended “Innovations” on a thrilling and exciting note.
